Purchased to replace 125cc in a Sachs Madass. Engine mounting holes have to be drilled to 10mm for this application, otherwise fitting is straightforward. Crankcase vent is very tight, as is air filter fitting, both will require some ingenuity. I 3D printed some adapters for this from TPU. There is a lot of rewiring required unless: you can buy the 100W 3-phase stator kit from OORacing.com, this swaps in and you can now retain all of the wiring, regulator, CDI, and charge capability from the Madass. Engine has a LOT more power than the 125 (really a 120). It started and runs pretty well with the supplied jetting. The 125 would do about 54 mph on a good day, the 212 easily hits 70 and the rev limit, probably can do more with different gearing. Pulls strongly at all rpm.
Great motor fast shipping just wish it came with a user manual or a wiring diagram to aid in the install over all great unit sofar
Thing showed up fast, perfect condition great packaging. Also came with more than I had expected. Used the $200 coupon code so it was a awesome deal! Thing is a monster.
